The standard format of the TTP is outlined on our Teacher Training Program Outline. To provide the opportunity for a deep understanding of Pilates exercises, The Immersion Format is offered. To provide flexibility in the start date of the TTP, the Independent Study Format is offered.
The Immersion format of the Excel Pilates Teacher Training Program is designed to assist individuals in preparing for entry to the Excel Pilates Teacher Training Program. At Excel, we believe that to teach Pilates you should know Pilates. The Immersion format allows you to study the work of Joseph Pilates intensively while working independently with Excel program directors. Participants learn to teach the vast repertoire of Pilates exercises on both the Mat and Apparatus with confidence. This one-year comprehensive Teacher Training program is designed to accelerate each participant’s readiness to teach as well as provide individual instruction in Teacher Training.
Program Outline and Inclusions are the same as Seminar Format with the addition of 30 one-on-one sessions to advance personal study.
- $10,440 total program fee
($7,890 TTP + $2,550 Immersion, payment accepted via cash or check only)
Independent Study Format
- The independent study format can be with or without the immersion format. The same outline, inclusions and fees as the seminar format or immersion format apply, however, the seminars are replaced with 50 hours of independent study teacher training hours with a director of a member of the faculty.
- This format allows flexibility in when an apprentice can start the program.
How to Apply
Please contact the studio for an application form and program requirements. Upon approval of the application, an evaluation session and interview will be scheduled.
