Pilates reminds me to breathe. In the stress and madness of a typical day our bodies tense up, become rigid, we forget to move, and our minds are on overload with multi-tasking and the fragmentation of everyday life. During the Pilates workout my mind is calm, my body is working, breath comes in and out, filling my lungs deep into my back. Breath is exhaled. I feel cleansed.
